that's what you think now, most people do... to save money on a bike, you need a moped

the bikes get better gas mileage, but trust me, you'll drive it twice as much, rear tires wear out @ 5000 miles if you take it easy so you're looking at roughly an extra $150-$200 every 5000 miles, then every 10,000 roughly you're have to buy a new front which is another $125.

600's driven normal will get anywhere from 30-40, hard riding will get you about 20. 1000's get better highway mileage think mine gets somewhere around 50ish roughly, but when you get on it, it gets worse gas mileage than the car. my sister's old 250 got about 70 or so on the highway.

if you're dedicated enough to not drive it everywhere, you may save a few bucks but i've yet to see someone not be burning up the streets after buying one

i have a 2008 kawasaki ninja 250 r green with 3xxx miles on it it gets killer mileage and might run on strawberry deusch if u tried lol basically brand new gave 3700 for it 2 months ago its been driven like a baby by my wife, but since i totaled mine she dont want it anymore i think 3300 wouold b good price they supposed to be 3400 brand new but they seem hard to find so all dealers jacked the prices on them even private sellers, interested? call 8751135

i could try and get a pocket rocket and my dad would still say no, it's mainly that he's never had experience outside of harley's and thinks every bike that's not a harley is junk and is the most unsafe thing on the road. he offered to buy me a harley, but i don't want one. i'm just waiting till i'm through basic and through tech school, then i'm gonna find me a bike to screw around wit.

yeah, the deal is as long as i live under his roof i abide by his rules, same reason why i've never been allowed to modify my car. when i leave for the military and i'm living on base we'll see what happens (now to get that damn knee looked at...)

A good friend of mine just picked up a new Crossbones from Harley in Lex. My jaw dropped when he pulled up and it was in the back of the truck. Those are such nice bikes if you like that flat black rat rod style.

i would, but it's not my style and he already said that if he buys me a bike i'm not allowed to sell it and go buy a street bike wit the money. so i'm just waiting till around christmas and i'm gonna buy a bike from a family friend. it's an '08 ninja 250. take it back to base wit me
