So, on my way home some kid in a Blue 2009 (not sure year, newest style) Honda Civic with a fart can was revving at a redlight, I assume to impress his girlfriend in the passenger seat. MIND YOU, I am in the 4.0 liter OHV TURD of an Explorer that we have. Light goes, He revs it up and drops the clutch, I floor the beast. I start to pull slightly, he is spinning, I am just slow. I start to pull HARD on this civic, so I let off the explorer and go into "stealth mode" and he flys by.

So yeah, Explorer 1, Civic 0.

Yeah, but I was in the explorer. This kid revved on, and then proceeded to get beat by an Explorer.

It was probably that blue Mugen from Alton Blakely or whatever they had at the track. Over priced and slow ftl!!! But is a very good looking car though!

Yeah, it doesn't really bother me, I was just like "wow, I wonder if he realizes that I don't have it anymore" I wish I had held on to the bottle until after I got my control arms in though, car ran 2.0 60's on BALD Falken ZIEX street tires.

Damn dude! I am telling you though, Falken tires surprise the shit out of me. The set I had is what I ran my 12 on. Even know I spun, it would have been a lot worse on a typical street tire like I have now. They would get REALLY sticky at the track. I have a nice new falken tire from a 700hp mustang if you want to buy it. Only has one lap around the track on it ;)

I could light those crappers up in 2nd gear at any point on the street, kick the rear out in 3rd, and chirp 4th, in fact, on Friday I was chirping 4th on the track, with my new tires (BFG GeForce Sports) it will not spin at all in second and barely chirps in third. The wheels weigh a bit more though, so my trap speed will be a little lower but the tires hook almost as well as the BFG DR's that were on them last year.
